Responsibilities
Prospect for new customers, from cold call phone solicitation to in-person sales calls.
Account Management/ensuring current clients' sales needs are met/growing existing accounts.
Gathering and writing up the information needed to quote a job and delivering finished quotes to prospects or customers by letter.
Writing orders to include all pertinent information.
Following job orders through art, plates, and production scheduling.
Communicating to prospects or customers any unusual characteristics or problems with artwork on the production schedule.
Communicating price increases or decreases to customers.
Hosting prospects or customers on plant visits and entertaining outside of the business setting where applicable.
Making deliveries to customers of finished products.
Reporting information on calls and making joint calls with the sales manager.
Filling out an expense report.
Performing whatever service is asked by management.
Collaborate with colleagues sharing and developing best practices.
The role requires skilled collaboration to ensure strong working relationships.
Drive for results and continuous improvement.
Responsible for compliance with all regulatory, facility food safety, and quality policies and procedures including product safety (GMPs) policies and procedures.

Required
3+ years of successful outside sales experience within the flexible packaging industry.
Understanding/knowledge of flexographic printing on flexible packaging or pressure-sensitive labels.
Drive/sense of urgency to bring in new clients (looking for someone energetic and motivated!)
Ability to prospect for new customers from cold-calling to in-person sales calls.
Account Management/experience nurturing and growing existing accounts.
Must be able to distinguish slight or fine differences in color, color hue, thicknesses, textures, and images within words or letters in order to approve the quality of the product.
Must work well within a team/in collaboration across departments and independently/remotely.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and be available for travel.
Preferred
Experience in the Southeast US market, particularly Georgia.
