Responsibilities
Communicate with farmers via mailers, phone calls, emails, and in person meet ups
Travel to farmer conventions as needed (1-2 trips/month)
Execute LOIs & Lease Options
Collaborate with team to make business development processes more efficient
Support partnership building with local farm/agriculture organizations

Required
A deep understanding of solar development through professional experience
An excellent communicator, negotiator and relationship builder who can forge partnerships with - family farmers, industrial farmers, landowners, etc.
Minimum of 4 years of experience and a proven track record of success in business development or sales
An entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for collaborating in a fast-paced, growing start-up
Proficiency in relevant software tools for deal management, CRM, GIS, and data analysis
Preferred
A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, renewable energy, or environmental or agricultural science or a related topic
Exposure to agriculture communities through either professional or personal circumstances
Minimum of 4 years of experience and a proven track record of success in ground mount solar business development or sales
