Responsibilities
Implement and manage security measures to protect systems, networks, and data.
Monitor and update security systems in line with company changes and new threats.
Conduct risk assessments and implement NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, and MARS-E controls.
Develop and manage POA&Ms (Plans of Action and Milestones) and Corrective Action Plans.
Perform proactive research to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and exploits.
Prepare detailed reports on findings, remediation steps, and process improvements.
Collaborate with teams to address violations of computer security procedures.
Provide support for Windows, Linux, and databases like Oracle, MSSQL, and Postgres.
Train staff on network and information security procedures and safeguarding.

Required
8+ years of experience in identifying problems, analyzing alternatives, and recommending solutions.
8+ years of experience in providing Windows and Linux operating system and application support.
8+ years of experience in working with network facilities, operating systems, and security software.
8+ years of experience in implementing and monitoring NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, and MARS-E controls.
8+ years of experience in writing concise, audience-appropriate reports and communicating findings effectively.
Database Expertise: Oracle, MSSQL, and Postgres.
Preferred
5+ years of experience with security tools such as Archer GRC, Dynatrace, Splunk, Imperva WAF, and Qualys.
5+ years of experience with ITIL methodology and ticketing systems like Remedy and ServiceNow.
5+ years of experience in training staff on security processes and information safeguarding.
