Responsibilities

Build and maintain financial models, prepare financial reporting, analyze KPI trends and explain forecast versus actual variances.
Support the budgeting process, providing functional support on revenue, expense and headcount planning to budget holders across the organization.
Partner closely with key business stakeholders to understand detailed drivers of the business and perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support business decisions.
Report and analyze new dimensions of measuring our profitability (payor, line of business, etc) with a thorough understanding of key profit drivers
Shape the future of our business through data-driven storytelling, crafting powerful insights that guide leadership decisions, support the company on special projects such as new service offerings, pricing, RFPs, compensation plan adjustments, etc.
Collaborate with the Director, Strategic Finance to deliver monthly reporting packages and KPI dashboards for presentation to the Board of Directors.
Create in-depth analyses to identify strategic and growth opportunities, examine new market potential, assess competitive landscape, and develop business cases.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or related field.
2-3 years of experience in investment banking or 4-6 years in private equity, FP&A, corporate finance or accounting.
While we primarily operate in a Mac-based Google Sheets/Google Suite environment, candidates must possess an expertise of underlying Excel knowledge to succeed in the GSuite environment.
Must possess the ability to produce, manage, and improve complex, dynamic three-statement financial models and conduct scenario analyses.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and business judgment skills.
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
Results oriented with attention to detail; able to drive projects from planning to completion with limited oversight.
A low ego and can-do self-starter attitude; willingness to take initiative, admit mistakes, and work to remedy them.
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to work across diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including senior management and C-Suite audiences.
Flexibility to prioritize deliverables and re-prioritize them at a moment's notice.
Comfort operating in an ambiguous startup environment with limited oversight and where there's not a set playbook on how to solve each problem.

Preferred

Knowledge of the telemedicine space is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools such as Looker (knowledge of SQL is a plus).
