Responsibilities
Develop and implement a roadmap for IT infrastructure modernization, including scaling, cost management, and new technology adoption.
Manage daily operations across data centers, servers, networks, databases, and cloud platforms to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and availability.
Oversee AWS and Microsoft 365 environments, including managing instances, databases, security, MDM, IAM, VPNs, and other critical services.
Lead the migration of on-premises systems to AWS, leveraging cloud-native solutions to achieve business goals.
Implement security best practices, ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, and conduct regular vulnerability assessments and risk mitigation initiatives.
Design, implement, and test disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies.
Oversee vendor relationships and contracts while managing the IT budget to balance cost efficiency with quality.
Deploy and maintain monitoring tools to ensure proactive issue resolution and continuous system optimization.
Lead infrastructure projects from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with business priorities and timely delivery.

Required
7+ years of experience in IT management
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Data Center management, racking, cabling, etc.
AWS Cloud Services: EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPN
Microsoft 365 Management: MDM, DLP, SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Compliance, etc.
Virtualization: VMware, Docker, Kubernetes
Web and Application Servers: Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, Resin, Tomcat
Juniper/Cisco: Routing, Switching, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, Firewall Rules
Load Balancers: F5 Big IP / iRules, HAProxy
Security: Deep security understanding, including network and systems security, XDR/SIEM solutions, compliance frameworks, and DevSecOps
Oracle DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka cluster
Bash scripting, Python scripting, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus Repository, GIT
Preferred
MS or BS in Computer Science or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
