Responsibilities
Serve as the technical lead for assigned business unit in all phases of Sales lifecycle, including presenting at events and trade shows, providing product demos, product evaluation support, and assisting with RFPs/RFIs.
Work with account managers to develop account penetration strategies and then deliver products and services to sales plan.
Participate in and contribute to assigned business unit’s partner business review meetings.
Assist channel partners in understanding ESET solutions and business opportunities to help develop and increase their selling effectiveness.
Provide product training and guidance to the ESET sales teams, ESET channel, and ESET customers.
Drive proof-of-concept (POC) pilots for customer opportunities by analyzing customer needs, architecting/developing/implementing the POC, and helping sales team drive POC to final sale.
Support ESET Professional Services processes by identifying prospect needs, scoping POC, and assisting with the delivery/hand off for ESET solutions to ensure customer success.
Be the voice of the customer. Capture feature request input from prospects, partners, or customers and provide this feedback to the Product Management team.
Stay current with ESET product, cybersecurity industry, and competitive solutions knowledge.
Maintain an up-to-date, functional, and effective demo environment for all ESET and ESET Partner solutions, including sufficient back up for disaster recovery purposes.
Mentor sales team members and fellow SEs.
Work collaboratively with ESET departments serving as the technical bridge between ESET and its partners, prospects, and customers.
Keep an accurate Outlook calendar for scheduling and maintain up-to-date notes in CRM for all sales related activities.
Work outside the 8-5 schedule as needed to meet the demands of the department and ESET customers.
Travel within assigned territories and US up to 50% as required.

Required
4+ years in presales engineering, end user/desktop support, network support, system administration, professional services, consulting, channel support, or related experience.
Excellent communication skills. This includes written, public speaking, and presentation skills with ability to articulate complex security topics to diverse external audiences, including C-level executives.
Administrator-level experience with installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft operating systems, MacOS, Linux, Android/iOS.
Experience with Active Directory in deploying, maintaining, and administering Active Directory objects and related directory services.
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, SharePoint server, and Office365 in a system administration role.
Hands on experience with Microsoft SQL and MySQL servers and database.
Experience with web server technologies (IIS and Apache.)
Experience with data encryption, multi factor authentication, and data loss prevention technology use.
Administration-level experience with virtualization/VDI technologies.
Advanced understanding of private and public network topologies, TCP/IP routing, SMTP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, LDAP, and network/security hardware such as routers, firewalls, switches, and proxies.
Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and determine root cause of a system or network symptom and remediate.
Solid understanding of IT Asset management and Cybersecurity. Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK Framework and methods.
Experience with endpoint protection, HIPS/IDS, web content security, email and anti-SPAM technology, network security, and cloud security.
Experience with SIEM and Syslog.
Experience with installation, configuration, and use of EDR tools.
Experience with malware, network forensics, threat hunting, response, and prevention.
Experience with threat intelligence and sandbox analysis.
Preferred
Cybersecurity software experience preferred.
