Responsibilities
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of EDI transactions to facilitate seamless data exchange between internal systems and external partners.
Monitor EDI transactions to ensure timely and accurate processing, troubleshooting any issues that arise to maintain uninterrupted operations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather requirements and implement EDI solutions tailored to specific business needs.
Conduct regular audits of EDI processes and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements as needed.
Provide training and support to internal teams and external partners on EDI processes and systems, fostering understanding and proficiency across the organization.
Stay current with developments in EDI technology and industry best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and external vendors to facilitate communication and resolution of EDI-related issues.
Develop and maintain documentation for EDI processes, procedures, and configurations to ensure clarity and consistency in operations and troubleshooting efforts.
Effectively communicates complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding across all levels.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
Two (2) years progressive experience in an EDI Operations capacity or similar Operations position for a medium to large organization with a structured IT department preferably in healthcare
Six (6) years progressive experience in an EDI Operations capacity or similar Operations position for a medium to large organization preferably in healthcare
Minimum of two years of experience in effectively communicating and collaborating with providers or vendors to foster strong partnerships
Basic understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile Scrum Methodologies
Proficiency in data analysis, drawing logical conclusions, and adhering to detailed written and oral instructions
Ability to work with individuals of diverse professional, vocational, and educational backgrounds
