Responsibilities
Developing fundamental understanding of optical materials and properties, deposition chamber hardware and maintenance, and basic process control
Documenting best practices, creating and updating procedures, and helping to train technicians on latest changes
Analyzing defects, helping to identify root causes and implementing corrective actions
Presenting technical information regarding project status
Mentoring with senior thin film engineer

Required
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Material Engineering
Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Strong communication and writing skills
Preferred
Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
The ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
Operates in a professional office environment
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
