Responsibilities
The SDE II will design, develop, modify, and evaluate complete software for technical areas of the Guidewire xCenters
The SDE II is expected to quickly debug complex problems and recommend best practices for process and performance improvements of the system
The SDE II invests in learning and experimentation to expedite Customization and integration (Intra and inter-system integration) using REST, Messaging, Plugin, and SOAP APIs.
Investing in our Agile practice to continuously improve product quality, time to market, and team member happiness

Required
Software development expertise in the in the Property and Casualty insurance domain
Proficient with Guidewire xCenters version 10.x and experience in Cloud Implementation is a plus
Ability to design, build and implement integrations from scratch
Experience working on projects using Agile methodology
Demonstrates software development excellence (software is simple, understandable, reusable, and secure)
Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices and tools, including designing automated workflows, optimizing build processes, and implementing deployment strategies
Well-versed with all Guidewire xCenters configuration areas like PCF, Gosu, Business Rules, LOB Model Configuration, Wizards, Workflows, Activities, etc.
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
High School Diploma or equivalent required
2-4 years experience in software development required
Preferred
Preferred to be ACE or Associate Certified in Guidewire xCenters
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field; and/or commensurate experience preferred
