Responsibilities
Lead the engineering efforts behind the AI Marketing Suite, redefining marketing automation.
Drive the development of products projected to influence $200M+ in GMV in 2025.
Define Strategy & Roadmap: Shape and execute the engineering vision for the Marketing Suite, ensuring it aligns with Gorgias’s business goals and customer needs.
Build and Lead a World-Class Team: Recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with product, design, and go-to-market teams to bring innovative ideas to life and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Deliver AI-Powered Products: Drive the development of groundbreaking AI-driven outbound marketing tools and conversational AI solutions.
Innovate at the Forefront of AI: Integrate cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies into the Marketing Suite, staying ahead of industry trends.
Launch Independent Products: Deliver a standalone AI Marketing Suite that operates independently from the Gorgias helpdesk.
Establish Best Practices: Create and maintain processes for code quality, scalability, and system performance, ensuring long-term reliability and excellence.

Required
10 years in software engineering, with 5+ years in management or leadership roles.
Proven success delivering complex SaaS or marketing products to market.
Expertise in event-driven architectures, cloud-native solutions, and scalable systems.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience in high-growth environments.
Excellent collaboration and communication abilities to align cross-functional teams.
Passion for leveraging AI technologies and driving category innovation.
Preferred
Experience with AI models, machine learning systems, or e-commerce platforms.
Knowledge of Shopify or D2C ecosystems.
Background in category creation or launching new product verticals.
Familiarity with tools like Kafka, Kubernetes, or modern CI/CD pipelines.
