Responsibilities

Platform Development: Design, develop, and enhance core platform features, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and internal standards.

System Architecture: Contribute to the architectural design of scalable and reliable systems, with a strong focus on microservices, cloud-native applications, and high availability.

Testing & Debugging: Implement and maintain unit, integration, and system tests. Identify and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.

Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, DevOps, and QA teams to understand requirements, participate in code reviews, and ensure seamless integration and deployment.

Optimization & Automation: Proactively seek opportunities to optimize processes, enhance automation, and improve efficiency across the platform.

Mentorship: Mentor and support junior engineers, providing guidance on technical issues, code quality, and best practices.

Required

5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in designing and developing scalable web applications and services.

Expertise in languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js. Experience with multiple programming paradigms is a plus.

Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architectures, with an understanding of Kubernetes and Docker.

Proficiency in working with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.

Strong background in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging tools.

Familiarity with Agile development practices and experience working in a CI/CD environment.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex technical problems and optimize code for performance and scalability.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.

Ability to guide and mentor junior team members, with a commitment to high-quality code and continuous improvement.
