Responsibilities
Expand market share of Madcap’s technology solutions through winning new customers.
Follow up with in coming leads.
Proactively research target organizations to identify new opportunities, including:
Industry-specific targets (ex. software, semi-conductor, …)
Build strong relationships with potential clients, understand their business drivers, pain points, and develop plans on how we can help customers meet their objectives.
Actively participate and/or present in industry events.
Responsible for understanding of our products, our competition in the industry, and positioning.
Gathering and analyze data to improve sales understanding of strengths, weaknesses, and threats to the product.
Create a value proposition for our product and deliver with credibility to the executive or C-suite level.
Help prospects develop their business case, determine their ROI, and obtain budget from stakeholders.
Position Madcap as a long-term strategic partner for the target organization.
Organize and deliver product presentations for prospects and customers with the assistance of pre-sales consultants.
Lead responses, coordinating effort across various teams in Madcap, to finalize RFIs, RFPs, and orders.
Negotiate pricing and contracts with customers.
Work in collaboration with Pre-Sales Technical Consultant.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required
Experience in sales and marketing, content management, DITA XML and/or technical documentation and/or Training & Learning at a management level is a definite plus
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
Proven track record in the technical documentation and/or training & learning community, with strong relationships with community leaders, and proven ability to support the Madcap profile through conference presentations, articles in industry journals, etc.
Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on prioritization, goal setting, and follow through.
Capable of managing multiple sales projects across multiple teams to execute on-time responses
Self-motivated and proactive
Proficient in MS Office tools and Salesforce
Experience gathering and analyzing data in a sales context
