Responsibilities
Create and test synthetic monitoring scripts to navigate and validate web sites
Create and test synthetic monitoring scripts to utilize and validate web services
Create Splunk dashboards and alerts by writing Splunk queries (SPL)
Support and troubleshoot the observability ecosystem and its integrations with dashboards, ServiceNow, and XMatters
Work closely with developers to gather requirements and develop monitors that meet the use case
Participate in review sessions to determine if applications meet the company’s observability requirements

Required
Need at-least 12+ yrs exp candidates.
Minimum 5 years of monitoring/observability experience, or related SRE or support experience, with monitoring tools such as Splunk, DynaTrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, or similar tools
An understanding of HTML/CSS and HTTP communications between client and server
Proficiency with JavaScript
Preferred
Proficiency with Splunk SPL
Experience with Splunk products such as Enterprise/Cloud, Rigor, Observability, and ITSI
Experience with a synthetic monitoring platform and tools such as Selenium, WebDriver, JMeter, AppDynamics, New Relic, etc.)
Proficiency with Python and other languages
Experience with Terraform
Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS
