Regional Sales Manager – Mid-Central US

Responsibilities
Lead efforts to establish and grow the company’s presence in the Mid-Central region, with a focus on Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan.
Develop and execute a strategic go-to-market plan tailored to the territory's unique opportunities and challenges.
Build a strong pipeline of opportunities, taking ownership of the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities at the end-user level.
Forge relationships with security integrators, professional installers, and distribution/wholesale partners.
Proactively seek out untapped markets and customer segments to expand the company's footprint.
Build and strengthen relationships with regional resellers, wholesale distributors, and independent manufacturing representatives.
Provide partners with the tools, resources, and training necessary to promote and sell company solutions effectively.
Work collaboratively with partners to co-develop strategies that drive mutual success and market growth.
Adopt a hands-on approach, including direct engagement with customers and channel partners to address challenges and deliver solutions.
Act as the company’s primary representative in the territory, building trust and credibility through exceptional service and expertise.
Show persistence, adaptability, and creativity in overcoming obstacles to achieve sales goals.
Deliver training and educational programs to partners and end-users to enhance their product knowledge and understanding of the company's solutions.
Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Use market insights to refine sales strategies and ensure alignment with customer needs.
Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product development, customer support) to align efforts and maximize results.
Monitor and report on sales performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.

Required
3 - 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in the security, access control, technology, or a related industry.
Proven track record of building and growing new territories or markets.
Strong understanding of security integration, professional installation, and distribution/wholesale channels.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region (50%-70%).
Entrepreneurial mindset with a relentless drive to succeed.
Hands-on, results-oriented approach with a passion for solving problems and delivering value.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
Ability to build trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders, from end-users to channel partners.
