Responsibilities

Provide Strategic Tax Advice: Partner with entrepreneurs to help them make informed decisions about tax planning and compliance that align with their business goals.

Ensure Compliance: Oversee and review tax filings, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

Mentor & Develop: Lead and inspire the tax team by sharing your expertise, fostering professional growth, and providing clear guidance on complex issues.

Innovate & Optimize: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax services.

Build Relationships: Serve as a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs, building long-term partnerships rooted in trust and value.

Collaborate with Teams: Work alongside accounting, payroll, and advisory teams to deliver seamless, comprehensive services to customers.

Tax ExperienceCloud-Based ToolsAdvisory Mindset

Required

At least 5-7 years of tax experience, including business tax preparation and advisory services.

Experience with multi-state taxation is a plus.

Proven ability to lead and manage a team, including mentoring, training, and evaluating performance.

Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local tax codes, regulations, and tax planning strategies.

A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for customers and delivering value through strategic tax planning.

Strong focus on accuracy and compliance, ensuring deliverables meet the highest standards.

You excel at explaining complex tax concepts in a clear, accessible way to entrepreneurs.

You’re resourceful and enjoy finding solutions to complex tax and business challenges.

Experience with cloud-based accounting software, such as QuickBooks Online, and tax software is required.

You’re comfortable working from home, have a dedicated workspace, and can effectively manage your time while staying connected with the team.
