Responsibilities
Develop and execute product strategy, informed by the company portfolio strategy as well as customer and market input.
Partner with Solutions, Commercial and Operations to shape and build the company's product voice, and image through external engagements.
Partner closely with the engineering team and partners, to execute short and long-term product vision inclusive of establishing priorities and performance KPIs, ensuring an exceptional end-to-end user experience and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Strategically develop and implement a product strategy and roadmap aligned to market trends to maximize opportunities and achieve financial goals - P&L, Revenue, Bookings, Costs, Overhead etc.
Work collaboratively with the CPO and other constituents to formulate and lead a strategic plan for product growth, encompassing the development of new products, buy vs build, and the enhancement of legacy offerings.
Create market definitions and evaluate new and existing solutions within the identified market segment.
Develop go-to-market strategies to introduce new products and/or features.
Build business cases for market viability of Patient solutions within key market segments.
Contribute to business strategies that sustain NextGen’s competitive advantage and expand our addressable markets. Ensure continuous product improvement in line with market needs, providing a product experience that continuously and consistently engages consumers.
Oversee product releases to ensure effective alignment between product, support and service operations and go-to-market teams.
Maintain a deep understanding of NextGen’s prospects, customers, competitors and partners, and their strategic direction, pain points, desired integrations, and culture, to develop a thoughtful and informed perspective of product and market positioning, including competition and differentiation.
Develop and manage key customer impact and performance measures e.g., patient adoption, patient satisfaction, product usability etc.
Plan and manage execution of market roadmaps, backlogs, and prioritization.
Coordinate business and contractual arrangements with partners specific to the market.
Ensure regulatory requirements specific to patient solutions markets are accurate and delivered within deadlines.
Bridge product management, development, design, business, sales, and operations teams.
Collaborate with finance, product management, and marketing on messaging, pricing strategies, and business models to achieve revenue goals. Assure that go-to-market value proposition, price to value and competitive pricing practices into all aspects of the product roadmap and strategy.
Establish and maintain a robust product lifecycle management framework, focusing on revitalizing aged products and spearheading the creation of a comprehensive technology and offering platform.
Assure that product P&L and other financial objectives are integrated in the product management lifecycle, including cost management, pricing optimization, revenue growth, and margin improvement.
Works with leadership and key stakeholders to drive portfolio prioritization and rationalization efforts.
Participate in sales efforts and contract negotiations as needed.
Build and provide direction, context, and leadership to product management teams including Product Managers, Product Owners, and Subject Matter Experts capable of delivering high-quality products within aggressive timelines.
Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study from an accredited institution; an advanced degree is highly desirable.
12+ years of increasingly responsible and relevant leadership experience in software Product Management.
Deep Healthcare/Healthcare IT industry experience is required, preferably with Patient engagement or related workflows, as well as related regulatory and compliance requirements. Domain knowledge can include either Ambulatory or Acute Healthcare.
Proven track record of delivering a complex, scaled platform product with experience positioning and executing a full migration to modern technology within a large-scale commercial/enterprise software development environment comprised of multiple products and multiple lines of business.
Experience writing business cases, and performing market analysis, developing go-to-market strategies for solutions or products, and managing backlogs for solutions across multiple markets.
Experience with complex solutions across generations of product. Must be able to define and manage complex process and/or product issues of a broad scope using independent judgment.
Strong expertise in managing product development cycles.
Proven experience and ability to build and lead high-performing product teams.
Significant general management and P&L experience. Financial savvy, aligning product strategy with company financial goals, including cost management, revenue growth, and margin improvement.
Experience navigating complex situations and managing multiple stakeholders with diverse priorities to achieve consensus.
Knowledge of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) concept and Agile development process; Product Lifecycle practices.
Demonstrated leadership skills with a rich blend of creative, and strategic talents to effectively communicate, motivate, and inspire cross-functional teams with professionalism and clarity.
Excellent collaborative skills, with a track record of influencing software development teams and aligning cross-functional efforts towards shared objectives.
Strategic thinking capability, with a clear understanding of balancing product management processes with aggressive business timelines.
Iterative / complex thinking skills.
Proven management and organizational skills working in a fast-paced and high growth environment; experience scaling a company in a dynamic environment.
