Responsibilities

Oversee a team of approximately nine individuals.

Serve as an authorized institutional signatory for agreements in the team’s portfolio.

Hire, train, and supervise staff.

Oversee the performance of the team.

Directly negotiate contract terms with a variety of funding agencies for Emory University’s sponsored funding portfolio as needed.

Central office sponsored programs experience

Expertise in contract negotiations for a variety of agreements related to sponsored programs

Expertise in federal contracting under the FAR and DFAR

Ability to hire, train, and supervise staff

Ability to negotiate contract terms with a variety of funding agencies (federal, state, foreign, other academic and non-profit organizations)

Preferred

Remaining in a remote location (outside Atlanta) can be discussed
