Responsibilities
Provide vision and strategy for manual and automated quality engineering.
Develop and implement Quality Engineering best practices, policies, processes, procedures.
Be a strong coach for the Quality Engineering team guiding them on best practices.
Guide the Quality Engineering team’s transition from manual testing to automated testing.
Collaborate closely with software engineers and product owners to ensure the highest quality products are released.
Become an SME on our product offering.
Assist in evolving the SDLC to achieve productivity, efficiency, automation, and quality goals.
Develop and track quality & productivity KPIs and metrics.

Required
Minimum of 3 years of managing a team in Quality Assurance
Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience required
8+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering with SaaS & mobile applications
3+ years’ experience managing Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering staff in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities
5+ years’ experience in using Selenium, Playwright, and Java for quality test automation
5+ years’ experience working in Agile environments
Strong manual testing with successful outcomes
Experience with test automation using UI & APIs
Experience transitioning from manual testing to automated testing
Strong experience implementing Quality Engineering best practices
Significant experience adjusting SDLC for improving efficiency, productivity, and quality
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to convey technical details to non-technical stakeholders
Experience with developing and reporting monthly metrics & KPIs
Positive team player attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and willing to 'do what it takes' to get the job done
Self-motivated, self-starter who can operate successfully on multiple projects simultaneously
