Responsibilities
Develop and execute high-quality visual designs across digital, print, video, experiential media, and packaging mediums, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
Design visually engaging and on-brand direct marketing campaigns, leveraging layouts, typography, and imagery to drive customer engagement and conversions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and deliver creative assets for campaigns, product launches, and in-store experiences.
Lead the creation of innovative and visually compelling design concepts, balancing aesthetics with functionality and user experience.
Mentor junior designer(s), providing constructive feedback and guidance to elevate team performance and creative output.
Design creative strategies for in-store activations, point-of-sale materials, and experiential marketing initiatives to enhance the customer journey.
Ensure all creative assets comply with multi-state cannabis packaging and marketing regulations, including state-specific guidelines on labeling, advertising restrictions, and product visibility standards, to maintain brand integrity and legal compliance.
Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, sales, and retail operations to align creative efforts with business objectives.
Stay ahead of industry trends in CPG, retail, and design, incorporating new ideas and techniques to keep the brand fresh and relevant.
Establish KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of creative initiatives, utilizing data to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.

Required
7+ years of creative leadership experience, preferably in the CPG or retail industry.
Proficiency in industry-standard creative tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
Understanding of emerging technologies like AR/VR, AI tools, and motion graphics.
Proven ability to integrate data insights into creative strategies, using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, or other BI tools) to inform and refine campaigns.
Deep understanding of brand development, digital advertising trends, and multi-channel campaign execution.
A minimum of 8–10 years in creative roles with a strong portfolio showcasing data-informed, high-impact campaigns.
Analytical mindset paired with a creative flair, ensuring innovative ideas are both imaginative and effective.
