Responsibilities
Implement necessary test processes on projects, write test plans, procedures, and scripts, analyze test results; actively recommend and implement process improvements for supported projects
Work as part of an agile team to deliver new features and technical enhancements
Collaborate with other members of the scrum team to complete defined stories and features
Develop test strategies for application changes and new features
Build and/or recommends appropriate test automation where needed
Build strong relationships across IT and business teams
Successfully ensure sufficient test coverage for all projects
Develop a complete understanding of the application and the underlying technology

Required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or Applied Science
3+ years of technical QA experience
2+ years of experience testing ETL processes or experience with data analytics platforms
Proven ability to design and implement Unit, integration, and regression tests to ensure the reliability of data quality processes
Experience building QA automation using open-source frameworks, such as pytest, etc.
Expertise in SQL and Data analysis
Working knowledge of continuous Integration and continuous delivery pipelines / lifecycles
Adeptness with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles
Travel required: Minimal (a couple of time a year)
Preferred
Experience in a cloud environment (Azure)
Experience with Databricks, PySpark, Delta Live Tables, and Delta Sharing for advanced data management
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and practices
