Responsibilities
Develop and execute architectural strategies that align with organizational goals and support business growth.
Lead multiple teams of architects and engineers, ensuring collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
Align architectural initiatives with product roadmaps and business strategies.
Ability to organize solution concepts into hierarchical structures that can communicate design decisions effectively to a broad range of audiences.
Oversee the design and deployment of complex SaaS solutions, ensuring they meet security, scalability, and performance requirements.
Drive the adoption of modern architecture paradigms, including microservices and serverless computing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect solutions that meet business requirements.
Plan for scalability, ensuring systems are designed to support growth and performance demands.
Design with a security-first software development approach. Building robust, secure systems from the ground up and integrating security principles, practices, and tools throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring that vulnerabilities are minimized, risks are mitigated, and compliance requirements are met.
Architect cost-conscious solutions by designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based systems in a way that optimizes costs without compromising functionality, performance, or scalability. Prioritizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness, ensuring that the business gets maximum value from its investment.
Document solution architecture effectively to ensure clear communication among stakeholders and provide a foundation for successful implementation.
Design and manage scalable, highly available cloud solutions in AWS, ensuring security, performance, and cost-efficiency.
Evaluate and implement new AWS services to enhance infrastructure efficiency and agility.
Oversee infrastructure management using IaC (Terraform) and ensure CI/CD pipelines support rapid, reliable deployments.
Manage large-scale, cross-functional projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Track key project milestones, manage risks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and implement best practices for data protection and threat mitigation.
Maintain optimal performance through architecture reviews, resource optimization, and automation.
Lead client engagements and internal projects, ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet technical and business requirements.
Track project progress, manage risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs and resource allocation.
Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Act as a senior technical advisor, translating complex technical concepts into business value.
Inspire, mentor, and manage a team of Solutions Architects, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Supervise and lead individual contributors, setting goals, providing feedback, and supporting professional development.
Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to influence organizational change and adoption of best practices.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
10 to 15 years of relevant experience in technical roles, with 5 to 7 years in leadership positions.
Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), IaC (Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines.
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and IaC tools (Terraform).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, networking concepts, and security frameworks.
Strong knowledge of security frameworks and networking concepts.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
Hands-on experience or familiarity with Clinical Data Management tools, including EDC and LIMS.
Deep experience with core AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, etc.) and advanced features (e.g., EKS, ALB, WAF).
Strong proficiency in Terraform for managing IaC across multiple environments.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS Code Pipeline, or equivalent.
Expertise in designing and deploying scalable and fault-tolerant systems.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including VPC, VPN, DNS, load balancing, and security protocols.
Experience with implementing and managing security frameworks and tools such as IAM, security groups, image and code vulnerability scanning and firewalls.
