Responsibilities
Coordinate and conduct geotechnical field investigations, evaluations, analyses, and designs, including foundations, slopes, ground improvement, support of excavation (SOE), retaining walls, forensic studies, pavements, and dams.
Perform pavement engineering evaluations and designs.
Prepare comprehensive geotechnical engineering reports for a diverse range of projects, including transportation, buildings, environmental, tunnels, water/wastewater facilities, dams, landfills, and general civil engineering.
Assist Senior Engineers with project budgets and technical deliverables.
Oversee geotechnical deliverables, ensuring quality control/quality assurance, and prepare technical and price proposals.
Communicate and interact effectively with both external and internal clients.
Mentor and supervise junior engineers and staff.
Provide geotechnical support during the construction phase of projects.
Train in and perform non-destructive geophysical techniques.
Undertake additional geotechnical-related tasks as required.
Plan, organize, estimate, schedule, and monitor projects involving both overhead and underground engineering systems.

Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 2 - 4 years of design experience required.
Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
Preferred
Master's degree preferred.
