Responsibilities
Meets with respective business units to identify and address human capital challenges or needs
Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business units operations, financials, mid-range plans, etc.
Assesses and anticipates HR-related needs of organization and/or business units.
Consult with management providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal counsel as needed/required.
Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation.
Works closely with HR team with respect to recruitment, engagement, and total rewards.
Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning.
Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.

Required
Minimum of 5-8 years in the human resources field, primarily focusing on the resolution of complex employee relations issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sociology or related field.
Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including performance management, federal and state employment laws.
Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
