Responsibilities
Be the first Infrastructure Engineer at Marker, taking on leadership responsibilities and driving a diverse range of high-impact projects.
Design, implement, and deploy infrastructure solutions for customer applications, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
Collaborate across teams—including design, operations, and product management—to understand user needs and identify impactful engineering opportunities.
Drive engineering design reviews and champion technical excellence to deliver high-quality solutions.
Shape the medium- and long-term product and infrastructure strategy to align with company goals and user needs.

Required
Extensive experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud-based infrastructure design and deployment.
Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong background in cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure, with a focus on scalability and performance.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Sentry, Prometheus, ELK stack).
A solid understanding of security best practices in infrastructure design and management.
Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred
Experience implementing HIPAA compliance requirements.
Background in security and privacy-focused infrastructure design.
Familiarity with machine learning and data science infrastructure.
