Responsibilities

Develop solutions to business problems with code that includes user interfaces, interactivity, multimedia, communication with APIs, and authentication using both web frameworks and vanilla Javascript

Participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements, provide work breakdown and estimates of work

Collaborate with UX and UI designers to validate wireframes and high-resolution design comps

Author documentation on projects (such as Technical Design Documents) and for department knowledge sharing

Communicate directly with clients in meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.

Support all aspects of day-to-day project management, including ownership of specified project deliverables and workstreams

Lead agile product development workflow, including writing and managing JIRA tickets

Manage a small team of developers that report to you

Required

At least 8 years of experience building web-based applications.

Advanced level expertise with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3

Professional experience doing backend development with Python and/or Node.js and an understanding of concepts including databases, APIs, authentication and serverless architecture.

Experience building sites with an enterprise CMS (eg, Contentful, Brightspot, Sitecore etc..)

Experience acting as project manager or scrum master using JIRA

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with direct client interaction and technical project leadership.
