Responsibilities

Develop and drive the overall experience design vision aligned with company goals, target audiences, and the product roadmap for ApartmentIQ.

Own the design system, along with a plan for evolutionary implementation to bring the vision to reality over time.

Work with teams across product, design, and engineering to prioritize and spec out new features to build.

Work directly with engineering to ensure a feature gets built, balancing your vision, technical feasibility, and user value.

Design new features all the way from concept to finalized pixels.

Conduct user research to gain deep insights into user behavior, needs, and pain points. Utilize findings to inform and validate design decisions.

Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and iterate on designs to enhance user satisfaction.

Though we are a remote workplace, our teams do travel to meet up several times per year in addition to our annual all-company retreat, Rentapalooza.
