Responsibilities

Participate in IT-related meetings focused on security and record comprehensive meeting minutes. Offer insights and recommendations as needed to facilitate efficient and effective decision-making and follow-up actions.
Provide technical assistance in resolving Tier 2 and tier 3 support tickets while adhering to company policies and procedures. Utilize a comprehensive understanding of various operating systems and software applications to effectively diagnose and resolve technical issues for users.
Conduct research related to ongoing IT needs, utilizing a variety of resources to identify innovative and cost-effective solutions. Evaluate and make recommendations on various technology options and their potential impact on the company.
Oversee inventory control. Maintain accurate records of all hardware and software assets, ensuring that all equipment is properly configured and deployed according to company policies and procedures.
Conduct regular reviews of system logs to identify potential security breaches, vulnerabilities, or other issues. Identify potential issues and recommend appropriate remediation actions, ensuring that all systems are secure and fully functional.
Assist in the development of comprehensive self-help resources for employees and standardization of the processes and procedures for common IT issues such as password resets, copier functions, and office requests, ensuring consistency and accuracy across departments.

Required

US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
6+ years of experience in a Tier 3 IT support role.
Must have at least 2 years of experience working with Microsoft 365.
Must have experience with SharePoint Online.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of inventory control.
Experience with log reviews and patching remediation.
Experience with MDM.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Prefer someone with experience using SCCM, Automox, or other patching tools.
Prefer someone with experience using Tenable or other vulnerability scanning tools.
Familiarity with SharePoint and other collaboration tools.
