Responsibilities

Improving not only your own skillset but the growth of local businesses and organizations (Paid training available)

Collaborating with staff to create original and creative content for websites, social media campaigns, and other marketing campaigns

Assisting clients with communicating their brand through content marketing

Supporting current staff in researching target markets for clients and their competitors' marketing efforts

Supporting SEO efforts by implementing "search engine friendly" content to enhance Organic Search Engine Optimization as it is implemented on client websites.

Gathering data and analyzing metrics to help improve marketing efforts

Required

Creative writing, English or a similar discipline.

At least 1-2 years experience in content creation

At least 1-2 years of local SEO experience

Have strong presentation and communication skills

Have a positive attitude and a sense of humor

Have a strong work ethic and demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines.

Required education: Bachelor's Degree or Relevant Experience

Preferred

Previous agency experience desired

Working knowledge of Google Ads, WordPress, Looker Studio, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Trello, Basecamp and SEMrush is a plus (based on experience)

A love for writing and a passion for all things digital.

A sharp eye for detail and a knack for storytelling.

A general understanding of SEO principles and best practices.

A passion for supporting small businesses and a willingness to tackle repetitive tasks for the sake of SEO success.
