Responsibilities
Perform collection of assigned delinquent accounts by telephone, correspondence and email.
Determine an appropriate plan of action for each delinquent account, i.e., letter and telephone.
Contact members regarding delinquent accounts, including MasterCard and negative balances, and handle all follow-up work related to the member contact.
Complete follow-up work for members who have not continued repayment schedule as agreed upon.
Complete follow-up work of appropriate reports.
Process deferments on qualifying loan products in a timely manner.
Conduct all member contact in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act and accomplish the job of collecting in a dignified manner.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 to 2 years of previous collections experience
Familiarity with collection laws
Good computer skills
Excellent communication skills
