Responsibilities
Develop and maintain excel based budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling tools for clients
Develop PowerPoint based monthly performance reports to provide critical insights in delivering compelling strategic recommendations that will drive improved performance and optimal resource allocation
Lead ad hoc analysis as needed, drive process and system improvements to ensure continued evolution of efficiencies
Execute operational tasks independently (e.g., development of tools / templates for client use, tasks requested by client, slide deck development, etc.)
Set up tools and to utilize client software / apps to access client data
Quality check one’s own work product to ensure that it addresses the subject question, flows logically, and is free from error

Required
Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.)
Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Prior experience in a similar FP&A / Investment Banking / FDD role (2+ years required)
Prior experience independently developing, maintaining, and enhancing reporting models and monthly reporting packages (PowerPoint)
Solid understanding of facility services / construction accounting processes (job costing, revenue recognition / WIP adjustment, drop shipped inventory model, and in-house vs. subcontracted labor structuring)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Familiarity with QuickBooks
