Responsibilities

Lead and manage ongoing delivery of a shared service team performing time-sensitive and compliance-minded work
Identify, lead the charge and implement process improvements on a scale ranging from the minutiae (e.g., changing one step of a standard process to improve overall quality) to transformation (e.g., automation efforts, scalability projects, technical enhancements definition)
Manager of managers – goal-setting, measurement, performance coaching, knowledge sharing
Design/implement data driven dashboards to aid in performance management
Maintain documentation standards to ensure consistency and quality of execution
Consult with internal (and occasionally external) customers on best practices, risks involved in deviation, and process flows
Own workload management, capacity planning staffing, succession planning for a team of managers and practitioners – span is 20-40 teammates
Look for and help drive continuous process improvements/efficiencies by maintaining a thorough understanding of all internal systems and processes owned with the team
Work closely with one or more SVPs/VPs/Directors to provide outstanding support during deployment and burn-in of projects
Measures of success are the KPIs for timeliness, accuracy and utilization of the span of control, including globally-sourced support teams
Responsible for special projects as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S) from four-year college or university; and eight or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4+ Years of Process Definition and Implementation
Experience with offshore operation teams
Must be proficient with MS Office– including: MS Word, MS Power Point, and Excel
Good written/verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel; ability to listen, clarify and respond well to questions
Comfortable presenting to senior leaders on your projects/initiatives
Ability to operate and make timely decisions in a sometimes ambiguous and always fast-paced atmosphere
Must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently
Critical thinking and creative ideation for continued growth
High level of productivity, commitment, organization, and accuracy/thoroughness
Strong analytical skill set and ability to effectively use data for strategy
Must possess a passion for teamwork, client service and reaching business results through problem solving

Preferred

Six Sigma, Lean or Kaizen formal training
Current or previous H&W benefits administration experience
COBRA/Direct Bill experience
