Responsibilities
Ensure customers’ ultimate technical success in scaling, building, and deploying applications on our platform.
Provide technical support and architectural consulting and advice to customer teams and leadership, primarily in Zendesk tickets.
Solve complex, often mission-critical problems with customer deployments and applications.
Promote platform knowledge and feature adoption to customers.
Investigate and debug with customers directly in tickets and join customer calls for longer-term initiatives.

Required
Solid understanding of modern PHP.
Experience in modern JavaScript — either front-end application frameworks or Node.js.
Willingness to rapidly learn new technologies and excitement to debug unfamiliar applications.
Excellent written English and effective communication skills with customers and colleagues.
Ability to actively solve problems and engage in deep, collaborative problem-solving.
Obsessed with helping others succeed and love working directly with customers.
Experience with software engineering industry standards across the full lifecycle.
Familiarity with coding standards and team coding practices.
Knowledge of source control (primarily Git).
Understanding of build processes, testing methodologies, and cloud infrastructures.
Availability for scheduled weekday and weekend shifts, as well as some holiday availability.
Preferred
Previous experience in an enterprise support environment.
Experience with WordPress development, theming, or plugin development.
Background in media or general technology.
Candidates must be based in the United States for certain teams.
Undergo background checks as required.
Hold American citizenship for certain openings.
