Responsibilities
Experience in explaining highly technical data and information in simplistic grade school language for end users of complex IT systems and projects.
Must be able to use a variety of word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and scheduling tools.
Must have experience in being able to gather and convert data into a written narrative.
Develop comprehensive and clear documentation for government contracts, including proposals, technical specifications, and project plans.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy in all documentation.
Stay up to date with government regulations and contract requirements to ensure all documentation adheres to relevant standards.
Verify that all content complies with security and privacy policies associated with government contracts.
Review and edit existing documentation to improve clarity, coherence, and adherence to contractual requirements.
Ensure consistency in language and style across all government contract documentation.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, project management, and technical teams, to gather information and insights for documentation.
Implement version control systems for documentation to track changes and maintain accurate records.
Proven experience in technical writing, with a focus on government contracts.
Familiarity with government regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Required
Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS
Associate’s degree in relevant field
Three+ (3+) years of experience as a Technical Writer

Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications or a related field
