Responsibilities
Develop a new EDI platform using C#.Net and SQL Server.
Manage and oversee EDI transactions, focusing primarily on 270/271 healthcare eligibility and benefit inquiries and responses.
Design, build, and maintain SQL Server stored procedures to support backend processing of EDI transactions.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and clearinghouses to ensure accurate and timely processing of eligibility transactions.
Develop, implement, and maintain EDI mapping and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual processing.
Monitor transaction logs, resolve errors, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Work with software vendors and practice management systems to integrate EDI functionalities, including real-time and batch processing capabilities.
Troubleshoot and resolve EDI issues, ensuring high levels of data accuracy and system performance.
Assist in the onboarding and setup of new EDI trading partners, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.
Provide technical support and training to internal teams on EDI processes and best practices.

Required
3+ years of healthcare EDI development experience, specifically with 270/271 eligibility and benefit inquiry and response processes.
3+ years of experience with Source Control utilities (Any).
3+ years of experience with EDI processes in the healthcare industry, specifically with 270/271 transactions.
Proven experience with SQL Server, including developing, editing, and analyzing complex procedures REQUIRED.
In-depth understanding of health insurance clearinghouse standards and HIPAA compliance.
Proficiency in EDI mapping tools, formats (e.g., ASC X12 005010X279), and experience with healthcare software and practice management systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication (written and oral).
Go-Getter attitude that will push to get the job done and drive projects.
Self-driven, with limited oversight required.
Attentive to detail with focus on accurate and timely results.
Organized and able to prioritize tasks, responding effectively to competing needs.
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience with development experience using C#. Must be able to demonstrate efficient and effective coding methodology, knowledge of design principles, and coding best practices.
