Responsibilities

Provide expertise around relevant transactions via agreed-upon procedures (AUPs) by performing transaction due diligence, transaction document review, etc.

Perform detailed due diligence processes, identifying any potential risks associated with the securities and devising mitigation strategies to manage these risks effectively.

Assist teams in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of ABS and RMBS transactions by engaging with internal teams, external advisors, servicers, and investors to facilitate deal progress.

Help internal teams manage the entire process from origination to completion, ensuring all transactions comply with regulatory standards and meet company objectives.

Monitor the performance of issued securities, providing periodic reporting to senior management and stakeholders on the status, yields, and any variances from projected outcomes.

Required

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in structured finance, investment banking, or a similar role with a focus on asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities transactions as it relates to Transaction Management.

Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and risk assessment specific to ABS and RMBS products while working for any of the Big 4 or other large-scale firms.

Must have prior experience working through Agreed-Upon Procedures (AUPs) specifically on the pre-closing side of transactions.

Advanced Excel skills relating to ABS and RMBS, as well as financial modeling techniques. Proven track record of the execution of due diligence tasks.
