Responsibilities

Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator. Adobe After Effects experience a plus but not necessary.
Designing and creating animations for video and message displays using 2D graphics and video editing applications.
Designing and creating static artwork for LED and LCD displays using various graphics editing applications.
Producing and presenting design and animations from concept to completion for sponsors, sales, and consumer/fan enhancement.
Creating artistic content targeted at a variety of display sizes and adhere to the customer branding.
Creating concepts of display projects, along with animations and graphic frames for demonstrations and presentations to customers
Working within a creative project management system.
Learning to anticipate customer concerns in terms of revisions.
Creatively solving problems.
Learning Daktronics products and control systems.
Building and maintaining professional relationships.
Contributing to Daktronics Intern Group: Monthly luncheons, Attend Toastmasters, Recruiting events, Give internship capstone presentation and attend colleagues’ presentations.

Required

You can quickly learn technical product features and functions and can communicate to non-technical customers and users.
You have a strong interest in sports and can relate to stakeholders of sporting applications.
Completion of sophomore year in good academic standing.
Required to take a semester off from school to pursue the internship if not a graduate. Duration of internship will be a semester and a summer. Only strong academic performers in undergraduate coursework will be considered.
Must maintain an acceptable GPA.
Unofficial transcripts or web transcripts must be submitted with application to be considered for this position.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Good organizational skills.
Self-motivation.
Willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Daktronics does not sponsor, renew, or extend immigration visas for this position.

Preferred

Preferred applicants will be full-time students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program related to visual graphics, motion graphics, graphic design, broadcast engineering, communications, other technical, or communication programs.
Will consider December 2024 and May 2025 graduates.
Microsoft office experience preferred.
