Responsibilities
Lead its major and mid-level gift teams
Providing strategic direction
Creating and managing personal relationships with donors
Playing a key role in closing major gifts
Overseeing a team of development directors
Establishing the overall strategic direction of the development department
Working closely with the Chief Development Officer, executive leadership, board members, and volunteers to support the organization's fundraising activities

Required
Minimum of 10 years' experience in frontline fundraising
At least 5 years' in a management role
Proven track record of securing significant gifts
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Solid communication skills
Superior relationship-building abilities
Experience in team management
Strong understanding of fundraising best practices
Preferred
Experience in healthcare fundraising
Knowledge of substance use disorder
