Responsibilities
Teach in undergraduate Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics Engineering Technology programs.
Provide practical hands-on instruction.

Required
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution
3-5 years industry experience in a mechanical and/or manufacturing engineering field
Experience in operating or programming Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines used in manufacturing processes such as milling, turning, and laser cutting or similar
Familiarity with Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software
Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or in a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution
3-5 years industry experience in an electrical and/or manufacturing engineering field
Industry experience must be within the last 5 years
Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used to control and automate systems in manufacturing
Understanding ladder logic, function block diagrams, and other programming languages used in PLCs
Doctoral degree in Systems Engineering with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution
3-5 years industry experience in an electrical and/or manufacturing engineering field
Industry experience must be within the last 5 years
Appropriate technical certification or licensure (if required)
Preferred
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering
7+ years career industry experience in Mechanical Engineering
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering
7+ years career industry experience in Electrical Engineering
7+ years career industry experience in Systems Engineering
