Responsibilities
Donor Stewardship: Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors through personalized communications, phone calls, emails, and events to foster long-term engagement.
Donor Acknowledgement: Support timely and thoughtful acknowledgments for all donations, including thank-you notes, follow-ups, and impact reports that illustrate the value of donor contributions.
Donor Retention & Engagement: Support the implementation of strategies to increase donor retention, re-engage lapsed donors, and enhance overall donor satisfaction.
Event Support: Collaborate with the events team to execute donor recognition events and campaigns that deepen donor involvement with our work.
Database Management: Maintain accurate donor records in our CRM system (NeonCRM), ensuring that all information is up-to-date, including gift history, communication preferences, and notes on interactions.
Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on donor activity, engagement trends, and fundraising progress, providing insights to improve donor strategies and outreach.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Social Media and Event teams to create compelling donor communications, newsletters, and reports that highlight the impact of our programs.
Donor Communication Management: Support the email process for contacting donors, including providing updates, fostering relationships, and building rapport to maintain strong connections, including oversight of donor support representatives replying to communications.
Collaboration Support: Enable the Social Media Strategist and Program Manager of Rescue and Shelter Partnerships to focus on their core responsibilities by streamlining donor communication and maintaining alignment with organizational goals.

Required
Prior success in a role relevant to donor relations, fundraising, or customer service. Experience in nonprofit organizations is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft personalized and compelling messages to a variety of audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for building meaningful, long-term relationships with donors and supporters.
Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team to achieve collective goals.
A genuine interest in and commitment to the 15/10 Foundation’s mission and values.
Preferred
Proficiency in CRM platforms (experience with NeonCRM is a bonus) and basic knowledge of donor management software and tools. At a minimum, a willingness to learn and figure it out.
Ability to define appropriate key performance indicators (KPI’s)/goals and the relevant metrics to track, as well as the ability to make educated recommendations based on the data gathered related to the goals and metrics.
Experience supporting the planning and execution of events, particularly of the fundraising nature.
