Responsibilities

Maintain our library and cheminformatic databases, ensuring data integrity and expanding them to capture new types of data to meet our company’s informatics needs

Building web-based tools that allow scientists from across teams to access and interact with our data

Explore chemical space on and off our platform by developing new tools for enumeration and analysis

Develop tools for molecular generation and data analysis to guide our hit-to-lead and lead optimization efforts

Required

BS/MS/PhD in cheminformatics, computational chemistry, medicinal chemistry; or degree in software engineering with a background in drug discovery

Experience with relational databases, SQL, and ORMs

Proficiency with RDKit and experience with fundamental concepts in cheminformatics (clustering, chemical fingerprints, SMARTS, chemical reactions, etc...)

Experience developing web-based tools for chemistry applications (i.e. streamlit, react)

Proficiency in Linux environment and experience with version control practices and tools
