Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures (public, private, or hybrid) to meet business and technical requirements.
Develop cloud adoption strategies, roadmaps, and architecture blueprints aligned with business goals.
Ensure that cloud solutions are cost-effective, high-performing, secure, and easily scalable.
Oversee the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance, and security.
Work with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate cloud solutions into the development lifecycle.
Develop and manage governance, compliance, and best practices for cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with executives, IT leadership, and business stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure cloud solutions meet those needs.
Lead cloud strategy sessions, workshops, and reviews with cross-functional teams.
Provide thought leadership on cloud technologies, architectures, and methodologies.
Ensure cloud environments are secure and comply with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
Collaborate with security teams to implement strong security policies and frameworks in the cloud.
Monitor and optimize the performance and costs of cloud solutions, recommending improvements for both.
Implement automated scaling, cost-management policies, and regular performance reviews.
Evaluate and recommend new cloud platforms, services, and tools to improve business and operational performance.
Collaborate with third-party vendors to integrate external services into the cloud architecture.
Develop and maintain detailed architecture documentation, diagrams, and reports.
Train and mentor team members and other stakeholders on cloud best practices, new tools, and technologies.
