Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand market share in Midland/West Texas and New Mexico for gas compression products and services.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with upstream and midstream companies in the oil and gas sector, focusing on gas compression solutions.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineers, procurement teams, and decision-makers.
Act as the main point of contact for all assigned accounts, building lasting relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Provide technical assistance and product expertise to customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns about gas compression equipment.
Conduct regular follow-ups with existing clients to identify additional sales opportunities and ensure product performance.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs.
Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and other key elements to close deals while ensuring company profitability and compliance.
Utilize CRM tools like ZoomInfo, PipeDrive, or similar platforms to manage leads, track sales activity, and forecast revenue.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales pipeline, and performance metrics.
Analyze data from CRM systems to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay ahead of customer needs and industry demands.
Provide insights and recommendations for new products, services, or strategies to enhance sales efforts.

Required
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the gas compression, energy, or oil & gas sectors.
Proven track record of sales success, particularly in business development and closing deals in technical industries.
Hands-on experience with CRM tools such as ZoomInfo, PipeDrive, Salesforce, or similar platforms to manage leads, sales pipeline, and reporting.
Understanding of gas compression systems, equipment, and services, or the ability to quickly learn and apply this knowledge.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required with equivalent experience.
Knowledge of the oil & gas industry, particularly in upstream and midstream sectors, is a significant advantage.
