Responsibilities
Database Management: Design, develop, maintain, and improve Oracle database solutions to enhance the TIERS application portfolio.
Collaboration: Work with development teams and stakeholders to deliver new solutions and enhance application performance.
Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize SQL, PL/SQL, and database queries for maximum efficiency.
Automation: Build CI/CD workflows for database automation using tools like Jenkins.
Troubleshooting: Provide triage support for production, development, and test environments. Offer 24/7 availability for mission-critical scenarios.
Development & Testing: Utilize Agile methodologies to design and test databases, ensuring scalability and stability.
Documentation: Develop process documentation and modify Linux shell scripts to automate DBA tasks.
Security: Implement database security best practices and monitor disaster recovery systems.
Oracle APEX Development: Use Oracle APEX to streamline database interactions and application development.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
8+ years in Oracle database administration, including experience in performance tuning, managing production/non-production databases, and ensuring data security.
Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL development, and Oracle tools like SQL Developer and Erwin.
Experience with CI/CD database workflows and automation orchestrators like Jenkins.
Hands-on experience with database modeling (logical/physical) and tools such as Oracle APEX.
Familiarity with Agile development practices and related documentation standards.
Advanced knowledge of Oracle 11/19c databases in Solaris/Linux environments.
Hands on experience using Erwin Modeling tool to create from scratch data models using data modeling techniques including star schema.
Preferred
Proficiency in database design for large-scale enterprise systems.
Familiarity with EIR Accessibility standards and assistive technologies
