Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries, handling phone calls and tickets with professionalism and efficiency
Advise managers and employees on state and federal employment regulations, collective agreements, benefit and compensation policies, personnel procedures, and classification programs
Evaluate job positions, determining classification, exempt or non-exempt status, and salary
Assist in preparing and maintaining personnel records and handbooks
Prepare reports to summarize job analysis, evaluation, and compensation analysis information

Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
1-2 years of customer service-related and HR experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively
Knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred
Familiarity with Workday, Zendesk, and/or Five9 is a plus
