Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Develop and implement automation solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of cloud environments.

Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage applications in the cloud.

Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.

Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends.

Address vulnerabilities to guarantee systems remain secure and current.

Required

College degree (IT) preferred.

Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience performing in the role of Cloud Engineer.

At least five (5) years’ experience in Information Technology.

Strong foundational knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Understanding of networking concepts (subnets, VPCs, DNS).

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Knowledge of cloud security principles and compliance standards (e.g., CIS benchmarks, GDPR).

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

US residency of 3+ years.

Preferred

Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Understanding of serverless computing frameworks.

Experience with machine learning and AI on the cloud.

Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified Professional).
