Responsibilities
Develop and optimize Snowflake-based data structures to support business objectives, scalability, and secure data access.
Design robust Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and optimize query performance using tools like Informatica and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and legacy systems for seamless data workflows.
Implement role-based access control (RBAC), encryption, data masking, and Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations for secure operations.
Manage virtual warehouses, scale performance, and monitor resource utilization using Python or Shell scripting.
Partner with stakeholders across IT and business teams to deliver reliable solutions and provide performance insights.
Create diagrams, mapping workflows, and maintain thorough project documentation.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
8+ years in data engineering, integration, and governance with tools like Oracle and PostgreSQL.
Advanced knowledge of Snowflake objects (databases, procedures, tasks, streams) and cloning capabilities.
Proficiency in Snowflake’s RBAC, query optimization, and performance management.
Expertise in scripting (Python/Shell) and automating Snowflake administration tasks.
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Cognos Analytics 11.1).
Experience working with data integration tools like Informatica and ADF for seamless ETL/ELT processes.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira.
Preferred
5+ years in the healthcare sector, working with PHI/PII, HL7 data, or HHS systems.
Hands-on experience with Azure cloud and CI/CD pipelines.
