Responsibilities

Develop end-to-end data solutions that address business requirements, including data warehousing, data lakes, and data integration solutions; Design/oversee implementation of data systems and architectures that support efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; Work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and other IT teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Evaluate and manage relationships with stakeholders and service providers, ensuring their solutions align with enterprise data strategies.
Design scalable, robust, and secure data architectures that support various business applications and analytics needs.
Integrate various data technologies and platforms to create a cohesive data ecosystem, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
Create and manage logical, physical, and conceptual data models to support data management and analytics.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring best practices in data engineering and architecture are followed.
Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring efficient data processing and storage.
Implement data quality frameworks and practices to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
Ensure that data solutions comply with relevant security standards and regulatory requirements, implementing necessary controls and protections.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data architecture and management, incorporating them into solutions.
Create detailed documentation for data solutions, architectures, and processes.
Provide training and support to IT staff and business users.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Understand the lifecycle of data solutions, from planning and development to deployment and maintenance, ensuring they continue to meet business needs.

Required

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain the clearance level stated above are required for this specific opportunity.
At least 5 years of experience as a Data Quality Analyst
Bachelor's Degree
10 years of professional experience without a master's degree
Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Apache Spark, NoSQL Databases, Datawarehouse, Snowflake, and Data Analytics and related ecosystems.
Proficiency in cloud computing services and architectures from providers like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, especially their data services.
Understanding of data governance frameworks and practices, including data quality, data lineage, metadata management, and compliance with federal regulation.
Ability to think critically, develop requirements for a program/project, and then execute on the project from start to finish.
Technically proficient with the ability to create functional specifications and documentation.
Experience in identifying solutions to business issues or problems and thoroughly review and document solutions.
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.

NIST, ISO 27001, CISSM, CISP, ITIL, AWS / Google Cloud / Azure Certified
