Responsibilities

Maintain portfolio compliance while promoting bank profitability and growth.

Servicing of SBA Loan portfolio; including but not limited to, post-closing review, ensuring current tax, insurance and financial information is in the file to complete annual review as required by policy, or as needed for servicing request.

Point of contact for SBA Department employees as well as borrowers with servicing questions or needs.

Makes recommendations or acts upon information in order to meet the needs of the client while adhering to SBA SOP requirements.

Adheres to business professional conduct and code of ethics with compliance to securing customer information and maintaining high standards of confidentiality.

Maintains the file with the appropriate memos and notification of actions in servicing the loans.

Monitors loan repayment activities, the collection of past due accounts and credit and collateral deficiencies.

Adheres to loan policies and procedures with complete documented files to ensure satisfactory reviews from internal and external audits.

Attends committee meetings and conference calls relating to lending functions as requested by Senior Management.

Attends on-site customer visits to monitor business and/or company progress or engages third party to complete site visits when needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required

Knowledge of financial institution lending policies and procedures.

Knowledge of SBA SOP 50 10, SOP 50 57, and other SBA notices and publications as applicable.

Superior analytical skills and ability to convey complex lending and financial information to both Borrowers and Management.

Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from SBA, Management, Customers, the General Public, and/or the Board of Directors.

Good time management skills.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
