Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day responsibilities over Valon's Third Party Vendor Management Program
Work cross-functionally with finance, security, legal and compliance to complete vendor risk assessments for each vendor
Coordinate and conduct annual vendor reviews and evaluations
Develop and enhance vendor scorecard process and system
Identify and escalate performance issues with vendor relationship owners
Streamline and execute on due diligence and onboarding processes for vendors
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry and regulatory trends in the third-party vendor management space
Work closely with other departments, including operations, product, security, legal, compliance, and engineering, to effectively monitor vendor performance

Required
Deep understanding of the mortgage servicing and fintech industries, including regulatory compliance and risk management
Previous experience overseeing and implementing a third-party vendor management program
Experience or familiarity operating industry vendor management tools
Experience setting up scalable and efficient operational processes
Experience creating and drafting policies, procedures, and control documents
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive complex projects to completion
Deep understanding of third-party vendor risk management
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to operationalize and scale oversight reporting and processes
