Responsibilities

Manage incident tickets by debugging, communicating issues, developing fixes, and performing unit tests
Understand and work with branching and deployment processes in a development environment for testing purposes
Track work efforts and provide status updates to the IT product team
Identify, analyze and communicate recurring problems and develop remediation plans
Participate in online retailer API implementations and support system operations
Communicate regularly with internal/external facing key stakeholders to provide status updates and answer general technical inquiries
Maintain a high level of stakeholder satisfaction
Collaborate in and adhere to Agile delivery methodology ceremonies
Participate in any/all training and educational activities necessary to fulfill at least the minimum requirements as specified within your departmental goals
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
3 – 5 years of related experience
Knowledge and experience in the insurance, health, or vision care industry preferred
Proficiency in MicroSoft Office, Jira and ServiceNow
Angular debugging and development for triage/defect support (EDP Tickets)
Middleware debugging and development for API triage/defect support (EDP Tickets)
C# and .NET 4.6.2 debugging and development for Member Portal triage/defect support
Proficiency in SAML SSO
Strong SQL background
Ability to correlate log information from various sources (e.g., Splunk, IIS, DB logs, file system logs) for root cause analysis
General infrastructure knowledge to diagnose and resolve environment-related issues
Understanding of ETL workstreams
Familiarity with user payment product concepts

Preferred

Understanding of provider networks
Familiarity with benefit structure configurations and their display to end users
Knowledge of product ordering and maintenance models
General understanding of claims processes
